We have been in business for over 25 years, all of our chocolates are made in-store by our expert chocolatiers. Unlike many well known high-street brand names and other chocolate websites, we do not sell mass produced chocolates. Our meticulous making process involves hand-dipping every chocolate. (continued below) Our mouth-watering centres are mixed by hand giving them the special taste and texture that can only be achieved using this method - we don’t not use any artificial flavourings.

All of our dark chocolates contain a minimum of 70% cocoa.

Quality chocolate is a bit like fine wine, it can be measured by the length of flavour - when you bite into chocolate you should be left with a flavour memory – one which lingers after consumption and almost certainly you will sense the urge to return for more...

In contrast with our handmade chocolates, most mass produced chocolates are made on hi-tec production lines then frozen in an attempt to preserve freshness; this method is used in order to cope with the high volume business. At Simon Dunn Chocolatier we won’t compromise on quality, we prefer to sell-out and re-stock with freshly made chocolates.

We are all often asked do we eat chocolates? The answer is definitely yes, after a day making chocolates we still crave them and always make sure we have some at hand. There are few more enjoyable treats in life than sitting down in the evening with my personal favourite a ‘Grande Marnier dark chocolate truffle’ and a glass of reserve Rioca - the complementary flavours seem to linger forever...
